APLAST HISTORY

Aplast – is stable, fast growing and the largest Latvian company producing plastic packaging for food and other industries, which operates in the Baltic and Scandinavian markets and the markets of Western and Eastern Europe.
The firm was formed in March 10, 2000. In May 12, 2009, the company was restructured and for the short time we managed to take significant place in the Latvian and European markets by understanding customers' needs and providing qualitative packaging at competitive prices.
Aplast today - it's more than 50 employees, modern offices, a powerful storage and production base.
Currently, the company has successfully run injection molding machines of known firms such as NEGRI BOSSI, BMB, DEMAG, ENGEL, KRAUSSMAFFEI with locking force from 50 to 500 tons. Currently, the company has more than 50 different presses - forms that can produce a fairly wide range of thin-walled containers. In 2011 we plan to expand the range by implementing another 15 positions.
In 2009 the plant got the robot that allows creating packaging with built-in label on In-Mould Labelling Technology. As a result, we got the opportunity to produce the packaging with a more attractive design combined with stable quality.
